Herman Bernard founded Bernards Inc. in 1983. The company was acquired by Dale Ward and Jeff Friedman in 2006. Dale Ward, a former Klaussner sales representative, joined Bernards in 1990 as sales manager. Jeff Friedman, who owned stake in U.S. Furniture Industries and is the grandson of the company's founder, joined Bernards in 1991 to handle product development and overseas sourcing. Daniel and Janet Lim purchased Bernards Inc. and renamed the company to Bernards Furniture Group in 2015. Daniel Lim and Steven Lim serve as the new company executives, with Dale Ward remaining with the company as senior vice president. The Lim family owns and operates a large portfolio of furniture companies, with Bernards being the newest addition. Our company sources its product from Brazil, China, Malaysia, Mexico, Taiwan, and Vietnam. We sell to more than 2,500 retailers in the US, with our largest accounts in the Southeast and Northeast. Using sanitizer & masks, keeping our warehouses clean, allowed employees to work from home where possible. We've also instructed our suppliers to follow WHO guidance at their warehouses.Is it possible to reduce contact with delivery guys or driver?
Yes. The Classy Home's delivery partners have been advised to reduce contact with customers by placing packages at the customer's doorstep and stepping back. ID check is performed at a distance. You can also choose a safe location where the delivery staff can leave your package.NOTE: we can also add one box named 'delivery instructions' in the form where customer can fill instructions while ordering
